How to Apply

The Lucky Brand Foundation will fund as many projects as its annual resources allow. Applications are accepted throughout the calendar year with the final deadline of December 31. All applications will be reviewed and a determination will be made no later than April 30 of the following year. To be considered for a contribution from the Lucky Brand Foundation, an organization must be certified as tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All applications must be in writing and should not exceed five pages. Any materials submitted with proposals will be retained by the Lucky Brand Foundation. Included in the proposal should be the following:

  • A brief description of the organization's purpose, objectives and programs plus a detailed description of the project and the amount of support being requested. Please include the number of children impacted by the project and any relevant deadlines.
  • Starting date for the project.
  • A copy of the Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(3) determination letter designating the organization as a non-profit, tax exempts public charity.
  • A list of the current Board of Directors and each director's business affiliation.
  • A copy of the current year's operating budget and a line item budget for the project.
  • An annual report or financial statement (if available).
