Comments about Lucky Alascan Hiking Boot
These boots really impressed me! I bought them in grey on sale for my trip to Montreal. I was a bit worried because I've never purchased lucky brand shoes and plus they are not known for all weather or snow boots. I took these to Montreal for vacation in early January and they held up fantastically. I did a lot of walking and the sidewalks were pretty slippery did not fall once so traction was pretty good. My feet were kept warm because these shoes have a good sized platform and heel to keep your feet from the cold ground. And not once did I feel any moisture penetrate my shoe.

Comments about Lucky Alascan Hiking Boot
I brought these boots last year I was so excited when I first received them. Unfortunately after having them for about 1week one of the d rings came off now they just sit in my closet since I can't lace them up correctly. I have considered ordering a new pair but I'm afraid the same thing might happen to me.

Comments about Lucky Alascan Hiking Boot
I purchased this in black, size 7, during the big 50%+ off winter sale. I am very pleased with these boots. The first several things that come to mind are super comfortable, very warm, great bargain for the price I paid. I feel as though I am walking on toasty clouds! I only wish I had these before my winter vacation in rainy (and some parts snowy) Oregon. I mainly wear them at work with skinny jeans/leggings, as in the winter my office (building) is particularly cold, and I run much colder than most. My feet are toasty and happy now. I believe I used them outside in light rain, and they kept me warm and dry. One downside is the squeakiness of the soles on one of the types of floors in my building (linoleum?). Otherwise, outside, etc., they are quiet. I enjoy the mid-calf shaft height and the ease with which I can pull on the shoelace ends to tighten the boots. i love the D-ring shoelace holders, the pull tab at the back of the calf, the platform rubbery soles and height. I never owned winter-y boots before, and as a Californian, these are more than good enough. Also the inside is soft and furry. The fabric-leather?-rubber combination is attractive and versatile. The fabric part makes the boots flexible. I'd like to say I aim for edgy, and for a pair of practical winter boots, these fit my style pretty well. I could not find the size, fabric information within or on the boots though.

Comments about Lucky Alascan Hiking Boot
Pretty good casual boot overall, they can go rugged or worn with a contrasting feminine top or dress. In fact, I'd say they harken back to the best of the 90s, so channel your inner Reality Bites Winona Ryder or Singles Bridgett Fonda and go get 'em, tiger. On the cons, it's difficult to lace them tightly on account of the width of the tongue and slickness of the lace to the eye. I have narrow feet and ankles but thicker calves, so tight lacing is always a factor/consideration. Otherwise they're super comfy and warm. If they weren't fleece-lined I'd wear them year-round. I like to pair them with cuffed jeans and a peasant top or with slouched socks over leggings and a plaid button-down. They're pretty fun!
