Comments about Lucky Genuine Suede Jacket
I've been on the lookout for a brown suede jacket for a while now and this jacket pretty much ticks all the right boxes. Pros: -The quality is outstanding for the price. The leather is a thick, substantial cow suede with a rich brown color. Quality is hard to judge with suede but this leather certainly feels and looks really nice. -Solid details throughout the jacket as well. Quality zippers, good stitching, contrasted arm vs. body liner. There's an interior pocket which is nice to have and often missing on cheaper leather jackets. There are little vent holes at the armpits and they're backed by a cloth patch inside the jacket so they don't destroy the synthetic liner -- a nice touch. The cloth ribbing is soft and thick, and feels like it will hold up well over time. Overall attention to detail is on point for this jacket. -Looks great Cons: -The liner is a synthetic fabric but it doesn't feel very smooth or soft compared to some other synthetic liners out there. It's not rough or scratchy, but could be softer. -Arm holes are a little large at the shoulders. This means less range of movement in the arms without pulling on the torso part of the jacket. -The stand collar is not my favorite. It can be laid down pretty easily and looks fine that way, but it tend to pop back up and looks pretty dopey when it does (see the model shots above for examples). Sizing: I am 5'10" 160 lb. average build. I'm a 39" chest and usually go between small and medium for outwear. I went with a small for this jacket and love the fit. It's got a touch of that bomber-y relaxedness but is mostly close-fitting and flattering. Due to the large-ish arm holes, there is some tugging when moving your arms around which may not be an issue if you size up for that classic loose bomber look. Also, If anyone is looking for measurements, here they are for size Small: 22" pit to pit, 18" shoulder, 25" sleeve (from shoulder), 26" length from HPS, and tapers down to about 18" at the waist.
