Just arrived! Lucky Brand Santa Monica
Designed to reflect a coastal vibe, our new Third Street Promenade beach boutique features bead board ceilings, locally-sourced pendants and, thanks to Urban Archaelogy, two vintage brass outdoor sconces. Inside, you’ll find rare custom and vintage pieces too, from jewelry to artisan totes, and of course, all things jean. Last but not least, our friends Chris & Chris, featured in this issue, added their hand-painted genius too.

Heaven, according to Kim, is the strawberry vegan cake and a golden helix smoothie at this local, natural and organic restaurant run by yoga-practitioner, Aaron Glassman. Aristotle’s mathematic formula dictates the harmonic balance of the menu and the environment, so come prepared to mellow out.
1028 Wilshire Blvd., 90401
Dedicated to featuring the work of local artisans and American labels, this boutique curates work by more than 100 artists. Kim is a huge fan of the natural bath products and of the one-of-a-kind design objects and textiles.

Rosemarie McCaffrey Antiques
For more than 20 years, McCaffrey, who started her career in couture fashion design, has been scouring European flea markets and collecting character pieces at her Santa Monica antiques-destination. Kim goes to mostly to dream. If you go, don’t be surprised to find an 18th century walnut commode beside a 20th century French canapé sofa and more rococo mirrors than we could possibly describe here.
1203 Montana Avenue, 90403
Why is this Kim’s all-time favorite coffee shop? Here are 5 very good reasons. 1. It's 24 hours. 2. It's filled with art on the walls. 3. You can borrow books and games while you sip your espresso. 4. The pumpkin pie. 5. Your own personal teapot comes with your very own free refills.
