Authentic Denim, Good Length True Petite
Waist Very Large
Feels true to length
Feels too big
I ordered these jeans because I wanted jeans that weren't crazy stretchy and clingy. These feel like the authentic denim I'm used to and can't find anymore. The rise was great, a true petite ! The length was a tiny bit long but would probably shrink when washed. The waist however is really large. I think the relaxed portion of these jeans was all in the waist. Unfortunately my quest for vintage non stretch jeans continues.

I love these jeans. Their so well made. They're made out of a thicker jean material so they are smoothing and can make everyone who purchases these jeans look wonderful. Georgia Straight jeans are the best.

Great pair of jeans that I highly recommend

I have always loved Lucky tops, which I could sometimes fit into an XL, however the jeans were never a fit in any style. I was so excited when the plus line came out and The Georgia fit is the curvy girls best friend! If you have hips and larger legs, this is the fit for you. The Ginger fit is better if you have thinner legs. The last reviewer I think forgot these are a straight fit, so of course they will feel more snug in the legs compared to the bootcut. But if you are looking for a straight jean and you have curves, these are a winner! I am 5'2 and size 18 - so the 18 petite fit perfect. True to size. Wear them a few times and they break in perfectly! Free shipping and Free returns in store make giving these a try very easy as well :)

Curvy? These are for you!

I've been buying Lucky Jeans for years now, and after gaining some weight recently, the regular size 14 Sweetheart Straights I was wearing were getting a little snug, so I decided to try going up a size and getting these. The jeans aren't bad, but the cut just seems very strange, and there's no way that the inseam on the size 16s, at least, is only a 32. My previous pair of jeans also had a 32 inseam and were just the right length, while these will likely need to be hemmed or rolled up if I don't want them dragging on the ground when I wear sneakers or flats. As for the cut of the jeans themselves, they're advertised as "relaxed fit," but I wouldn't say that that's especially accurate, at least not in the thighs, where they're kind of snug, which wasn't what I was expecting, given the description. The waist fits all right, but it almost seems like all they did to make the fit "relaxed" was to lengthen the leg of the jean. I'll probably keep this particular pair, since I waited a good ten days to get them and don't really want to go through the production of shipping them back, but I think I'm going to try a 16 petite in the hopes of a slightly more even fit for my body type. I don't think I'm shaped especially oddly, because my previous jeans have fit just fine. I think being able to try on plus-size jeans in the actual retail stores would solve a lot of these issues, but that's not an option. I also hate that the size chart provided on this site give measurements for the petite sizes offered, so there's no way at all to tell whether a petite might be a better fit.

Curvy on bottom
Not terrible, but not great, either.
