These are beautiful boots. The leather appears to be of good quality, and the boots themselves feel sturdy and well-made. I had been looking a long time for a no-frills pair of tall leather boots that I could easily dress up or down, and these definitely fit the bill! There's a decided Western vibe to them, but they still look very chic and classy, especially when paired with a short dress or skirt. I wear a Size 7 in nearly every pair of shoes I own (including other Lucky Brand boots), and so I ordered my usual Size 7. They are a bit snug. If I'd had the luxury of trying these on in a store, I might have ended up going home with the 7 1/2. However, it's not enough to motivate me to go through the return process, and I figure the leather will stretch out a little over time. If you're between sizes, or if you plan to wear these with thick socks, definitely order a 1/2 size up. I will also mention that these boots might be a little tight for ladies with larger calves. I have what you might euphemistically call "athletic" calves (about 14 inches around) and it takes some work to zip them up over jeans. I believe they make a wide-calf version of these as well. Overall, this is a purchase that I'm very happy with!
Just what I was looking for!
Great quality, fit, style & comfort! Petite, 5ft 120lbs & the 5 1/2 fit amazingly comfortable. I buy my boots half size bigger to wear with thick socks. The height was actually a tad high & I thought of returning for this reason but after wearing them out I recieved so many compliments & my husband loved them too. I can wear with a skirt & leggings & it looks so nice. I bought the brown & black.
