I wear a solid size 28 in Lucky. Normally, I'll go up to a 29 if i want a more relaxed fit or down to a size 27 if reviews say they are sized large. I got these jeans in a size 30 just to be safe, since everyone was saying they ran small... well I should have gone bigger. Oddly enough, they fit just a bit tight in the legs and butt (and mines a pretty good size), its the waist that is cut like it's meant to be worn with a girdle. I got 2 sizes larger than my norm and I can just barely get them zipped. For reference I am 5'3", 155lbs, hourglass shape. Im hoping i can soak them down with water while wearing them and stretch them out that way, wish me luck. Also, they are a bit lighter color than the picture and the pockets are sewn higher up on the butt than usual.... honestly my least favorite fit of anything I've ever ordered from Lucky. :(
HOLY BATMAN, THESE THINGS ARE SO TIGHT!

I have only bought size 27. This fit is extremely tight. The look on the model looks loose.
Buy a size larger!

I am a solid size 27 with just about every Lucky Brand style. They were sold out of 27s for this tomboy style which is probably a good thing since this style runs surprisingly small (especially since it is called a "tomboy" which usually denotes a looser fit). I ordered a size 28 and they fit like a 25 would normally fit me. This makes me grumpy because the denim is high quality and the wash is great (I'm not a fan of too much distressing). Had I ordered the appropriate size, these would be the ideal high-waisted jean! The length is very short, as well. Exactly how it is protrayed on the model, so don't expect the usual Lucky Brand ankle length. Overall, great jeans. In my experience, size up!
