I tried these on at the local Luck Brand store and instantly liked them. They are a lot different than some of the other jeans. These initially have a much denser, stiffer feel to them, but they are still soft and comfortable. There is not a lot of give to the material. The style is more of a classic than a "trendy" look. I like both looks, sometimes I like a little trendy, sometimes more classic. The button fly certainly adds to the look. The fit is more of a "skinny" fit. I usually wear a 121 29x30. I found the 30x32 fit well in this jean. That is too say, the thighs and waist are cut very tight. There is ample room below the knee. So if you're a bike rider with big thighs, this is probably not the cut for you. I found the material to be comfortable. The cut is snug but not overly so especially in the front and back. It doesn't look baggy, it has a very tailored look to it. This is a good looking and comfortable jean. The heavier material is also good for the colder weather.

I wasn't sure how'd i feel about this pair when i got it since I was ordering it without seeing it in person, because i didn't like the destruction/repaired detail the image shown. When i got them the detail was different. Its a small tearing instead of destruction/repaired look, which i like more!. What i like about the fit is that it isn't a skin tight fit so don't be afraid of going true to size! Great selvedge denim; I have 13 pairs of selvedge from Lucky and this is in my top 5!

I bought a pair of ???1 AUTHENTIC SKINNY LEGEND?? in selvedge denim. The color is very close to the product images. That is, a medium faded blue with ten years of simulated wear and tear: light staining, frayed edges, wear marks and assorted small holes and patches. Oddly, this well-worn fabric is stiff and suffers puffy thighs. In other words, no drape even after days of wearing. I suspect a few dozen washings would soften it up and allow it to fall naturally. That thigh puffiness hints at the cut. This Legend is not ???skinny?? by any stretch of the imagination and fits me like a tapered regular cut. That is, the thighs are baggy. I knew they weren??t truly skinny before buying them, so not a terrible thing but something buyers should be aware of. However, sizing is true and the 32-inch waist fits perfect. What I enjoy most about them is they??re so understated: beat, faded and worn but still smoldering with made in USA quality. They??re a perfect match with a graphic tee and destructed motorcycle jacket. If they were softer and draped more naturally, they??d be perfect tapered regular jeans.
